A regular cleaning visit handles what you see: floors, counters, bathrooms, dusting. A deep clean handles what you do not see until it becomes a problem: the grease film on top of the kitchen cabinets, the dust packed into bathroom vents, the ring inside the oven door, the grout that has quietly gone from white to grey. The two jobs are different, and most homes need both.
For a typical family home in Clarksville or Nashville, we recommend a deep clean two to four times a year. Twice a year works for a tidy household with no pets. Four times a year is realistic for homes with kids, dogs, or allergy sufferers, and for anyone who lives near construction or a busy road, where fine dust gets in faster than you would expect.
Seasons are a useful trigger. Spring and fall are the obvious moments, when pollen or heating season leaves a layer on everything. Before the holidays is another common request, since it is the one time of year most people see their own baseboards through a guest's eyes.
There are signs you are overdue regardless of the calendar: a kitchen that smells faintly of old grease even after wiping down, bathroom fixtures with a chalky build-up that does not rinse away, ceiling fan blades with a visible edge of dust, and a vacuum that fills faster than it used to because dust is circulating rather than being removed.
The most cost-effective approach we see is a deep clean first, followed by a regular schedule that keeps the house at that level. Regular visits are cheaper and faster when the baseline is clean, and the next deep clean is lighter work. If you are not sure which one you need, send us a few photos and we will tell you honestly. New clients take 25% off the first visit either way.
